Go down one side and up the other. Use some pressure against the side of the ski so the tool stays right up against it and the cut is smooth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tail hook is only a bit trickier.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHook the bungee in the ski notch, stretch a bit, stick the skin on the ski. Cut off the excess right at the bottom of the ski.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStick the tail hook onto the glue side. Make sure the length is good. (Better to be a bit short than too long, because the bungee stretches and if needed, you could use the not on the end of the bungee instead of the mid-bungee knot.) Remove the skin from the ski.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUse the punch tool (included) to punch out holes in the skin. Place the punch right in the holes in the tail hook. Best to have a piece of wood under the skin. Don’t do it on your kitchen table.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInsert the rivets. Male rivet from the glue side and female rivet from the plush side. Probably easiest to do this one rivet at a time instead of all three. Hammer in with light taps.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eMaintenance:\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCheck the adhesive layer regularly and clean it if necessary. Dust, dirt and ski wax residue do affect the adhesive performance and require the hybrid adhesive to be cleaned. \u003c\/span\u003eThe tackiness of our hybrid adhesive will only be impaired by dirt and other contaminants on its surface. The adhesive strength can be renewed simply by washing with standard detergent and water.
